Question by archer mark: How to FIX a NIGHT VISION MONOCULAR?
I got a night vision monocular a yr ago.. recently it stopped working.. here in my country no one wants to fix it and maybe no one can, a friend of mine (a technician) checked it out, he said the power supply is fried.. anyone know if i can by pass this power supply? or any solution to fix this? the cost of sending it off for repairs is impractical because the with the amount for shipping i could probably by 2 or 3 more of these.. any answers are appreciated. thanks.

Answer by Renaissance Nerd Your Night Vision Monocular contains a high voltage power supply. When these fry, it is typically the switching component in the power supply. The problem is when it blows, it can take the controller with it and other components the controller needs. It sounds like replacing the power supply isn’t an option for you and it may be like opening up a Pandora’s Box to try to do it yourself. Therefore, I would suggest you purchase a new product.

Answer by the one who knew better clarity compared to what? first gen night vision needs an external light-source such as an infrared light. also, there is an extreme distortion on what you actually see. you will probably be disappointed…
