Metal Gear Solid 3 pt 15 The Dark Cave

My goals for this walkthrough are as follows 0 Alerts No kills until after The Sorrow All bosses beaten by stamina depletion except the Shagohod. I will not go for the Kerotan Frogs because beating the game with 0 alerts gives the same reward as shooting all the Kerotan frogs. This cave is pitch black. Until you find the torch or NVG you have to rely on either your cigar (which lowers your health) or Thermal Goggles (which only highlights items & animals) New Items Torch Battery NVG New Camos Animals

Q&A: Will these goggles work well for airsoft?

Question by indorgorn: Will these goggles work well for airsoft?

http://www.opticsplanet.net/ess-tactical-thermal-goggles.html

Would these fit well over glasses and would they stop bbs?

Best answer:

Answer by Justin M
they’ll fit over you glasses and protect your eyes, however take special caution that your glasses underneath your goggles dont fog up, many years of playing paintball (related to airsoft) and have seen this happen too many times to people that wear glasses under their mask, make sure you use a non-fog spray on your glasses

I think this was a really quick boss battle. This usually takes me like ten or twenty minutes to complete. The Fear is a real pain in the ass, because every time you get his stamina down, he eats some food and recovers it. That’s the reason why you should keep some rotten food with you. The first thing you should do, even if you aren’t using the speed runner method, is use the fake death pill, wait till The Fear turns around, use a revive pill, then a stun grenade. Be sure to turn away when the grenade goes off. Next, take out the tranq gun and tranq him. If you hit him with all of your shots, you can drain about a quarter of his stamina. Then, equip the flecktarn cammo, which will give you unlimited battery power, and the thermal goggles because The Fear turns invisible and jumps through the trees. Once his stamina goes down past half, he’ll try to eat. When he shoots his first bit of food, find it and collect it so that he doesn’t eat it, and throw a bit of rotten food for him to eat. He’ll get food poisoning, which will decrease his stamina until he throws it up. Take this opportunity to find him and shoot him with the tranq gun. If you don’t have any rotten food, a poison dart frog will do just fine. They are small, red and blue in color, and they can be found throughout the entire are. When he is poisoned he is at his most vulnerable. Just a side note, as long as you kill him by lowering his stamina, you can get his cammo, no matter what method you use.

www.megaupload.com ^————— Download Link —————^ This is part fourteen of my run of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Subsistence Version, for the Playstation 2 with No Kills, Alerts, Cheats, or Deaths on Normal Difficulty. We go through the swamp that Eva managed to go though, talk with her, and kill some dogs. 0:18 – It’s too hard to get passed these Crocodiles without getting killed. 0:38 – This happens almost every time you go into the water. 0:45 – Rather odd placement. 1:59 – Sounds like some white trash town. 2:35 – Then why change to a country that’s just going to change with as well? 2:46 – That makes way more sense. 3:18 – And that’s why I don’t recommend anyone be a soldier. 3:45 – I had to eat this so that when I cross the wires I’ll have full stamina. 4:25 – Yes there are flipping mines here, The Mine detector works as a traditional Metal detector, but you can see the Claymores by using the Thermal Goggles. 4:37 – Dogs don’t count towards your kill count and they are hard as hell to hide from, so I had no choice. 4:54 – That turns off the power to the fence, now I won’t have to worry about being shocked. 5:18 – I got to admit, that was a nice shot. 5:42 – Did I miss him? 6:09 – Damn it, the controls fucked up. 6:43 – I got to admit, this sounds pretty catchy. 7:57 – This doesn’t count towards your kill count either. 8:12 – That was close.

This is killing me… I just picked some up the other day, but I can’t remember where.

I think there might be some in the RC shop in San Fierro. (Near the gas station safe house and the baseball diamond).

Question by : Alternative for thermal vision goggles to test heat radiation?
Me and my friend have created a substance which is meant to act as an excellent insulator- aerogel. You might have seen it before:

http://www.rhododendrites.com/blog/files/2008-02/aerogel3.jpg

We would like to see if it stands the test and see if a hand would be less visible if placed behind a thin layer of aerogel using heat vision goggles. The problem is, those are EXTREMELY expensive.

Is there a way to test the aerogel’s unique property without thermal vision goggles?

Best answer:

Answer by bonobo
Yes. There are a variety of inexpensive, non-contact IR temperature detectors that give a single temperature reading. There are some that read a person’s core temperature (through the ear) with a display. Your best (cheapest, most accurate, and widest temperature range) option is one that plugs-in to a standard multimeter and the temperature can be read as a DC voltage. Just point and read the temperature. There’s a little sticker that you can put on the heat source first and then on the aerogel when taking each reading. The sticker guarantees that the emissivity of the surface measured remains constant. Keep the distances from the probe to the aim-points the same for each reading (just to be extra careful).

MGS3 The End HD

metalgearplanet.com The End is a unique boss since you are suppose to fight with him for a long time (not in this case) and you can only hear the animals and your footsteps. I used the following SVD Sniper Rifle Microphone (to hear his loud breathing) Thermal Goggles (to see his body heat beneath the camouflage) AP Sensor (to let me know when he is very… close by) MGS3 The End HD Collection gameplay

Madness Is Surreal (GTA San Andreas in 3D-HD)

Red/cyan 3D glasses… well, I guess it might look okay in 2D, too. :o P 720p or 1080p viewing recommended. Using the thermal goggles while playing in 3D somehow seemed… pseudo-artistically-surreal. Played with the “city rioting” (STATEOFEMERGENCY) and “never wanted” (AEZAKMI) codes turned on. Anyway, lots of fun with the katana here, including blood-spurting decapitations and other gratuitous but very fun game violence. Also, using the riot shotgun for what it says on the tin – in a riot! XoD (On the technical side, the random noise made this compress like shit! I had to crank the compressor up to 11 or something. ;o) iZ3D driver, makes most any Direct3D 8+ game into stereo 3D, and works with most any 3D card; anaglyph output (like this) is free: www.iz3d.com DISCLAIMER This is not intended to be connected to the real world in any way; if you think that, you are an idiot. It’s just completely random and for fun. :o P

Problems: Thermal goggles/ Night Vision goggles dont work, audio quality isnt 100% but close to it (unoticable/tolerable), music can cut out during gameplay from time to time (voice/sound effects not effected-rare-will fix itself). Overall the game as a whole is 100% playable well done to the Dolphin Team keep it coming. Please subscribe and check out the links in the video.
